Is it hard to install a weight disb. hitch? I read the instructions and it seems as though you must raise both vehicals once the pu and car/truck is connected and before the final adjustments are made. I didn't think it was such a major job...??????

First off, what is the weight of your trailer,or is it a pup?Weight-distrubating hitches are usually for travel trailers or units weighing over 5000#.First off,you hitch up the trailer to the truck, then use your tounge jack to raise truck till all the weight is off the bumper, then attach the equilizer bars to the ballmount on your hitch, and other ends of bars (with the chains)to the pullup brackets on aframe of trailer (use hitching bar on chains to lift onto hooks)this will take some effort. Then connect sway bar,and lower jack to clear the ground.Connect trailer plug to truck electrical plug, hook uo safety chains, check lights and you're ready to roll.............Be sure you really need a weight-distrudating hitch, most pups, even the large ones, dont need them.

Good luck, hitching is really easy, once to learn the right way.
