Those are 12V power sources. We plugged our 12V fan into ours.

Most people plug 12 volt lights, fans, or light/fan combos into those outlets.

Thank you. I kinda figured that, but I'm old enough to know not to just wing it and plug something in there.

As an FYI these are not high powered outlets. They are rated for only 4 amps MAXIMUM.
We've had way to many folks cut cigarette lighter type plugs off of 12 volt high amp draw items and put a 1/4" pin plug and try and use the ceiling outlets.
Since the lights are on a 15/20 amp fuse we've seen quite a few melted light fixtures.

We use the outlets for our bunk end fan/light combos.  I did purchase a 3rd combo to use in the dinette area (great ventilation - especially when using the stove and have the door vented and one of the dinette windows open).  There is another jack on my unit - outside on the 'porch light'.  I've never tried to use this jack for light or fan as I don't think my cord would be long enough to reach from the jack to the awning support where I'd attach the fan/light combo....if I do need white light under the awning, I carefully remove the porch light cover, or plug in my super small lamp in the 110-v outlet.
