Love my 1995 viking 195 ST the only big thing that bugs me is the telescoping supports that hold up the roof.At the bottom they start 1.5 x 1.5 square and telescope to 1 x 1 at the roof line, when the pup is up and level and stabilized there is a sway in the roof. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or solutions on how I could stiffen them up while pup is up?

Not too sure I understand what your saying ... Are you concerned about the stability of the roof in the opened postion?

The lifters and roof are designed for a certain amount of "sway" or give. My little Starcraft has the Goshen lift sytem and it has the two metal U shaped safety braces that snap in place over opposite lifter posts, should there ever be a winch or cable failure.

Another important factor with the lifters is making certain the PU is level, so everything goes straight up. One of the frequent complaints of the door not fitting just right a lot of times can be traced to not being level.

Yes, I'm just concerned with the support that it gives lets say on a fairly windy day. I know a pup has limited capabilities but I was wondering if other pup campers have the same concerns, and what the short term fix ( when camping ) could be. AKA added support when camping that could easily added and removed.

I've been caught out on some pretty windy days ... and even a couple of windy storms and all went well. One storm was supposed to have had gusts up to 50 mph +.  Obviously any popup has it's limits as to what it can endure. It seems to me that I remember some posts here of times past where some PU's actually  blew over in a hard wind rather then becoming "topless".
