A step stool is a must for us.  I am only 5 foot and could not even turn the lights on inside without the step stool.  I have one of those plastic folding ones that fold flat.  At night it serves as a little stand for the kids stuff.  The 5 gal. bucket is what DH uses when he's setting up.  lol

how about a sense of humor, patience, and the one or ones you love the most...........  if you have those, everything else will work itself out!

Relax.....enjoy, and don't get uptight about things.......Camping is supposed to be fun.....always think to yourselves......."is this important enough to really get upset about?"...............

 I think this is about ideas on stuff they may need..... not about needing a therapy session! HAHAHAHAHAHA  :p

Over the years of having my PUP, I've invested in:

-Memory Foam topper for the bunks (do tissue box test first to determine thickness which will allow your roof to close).
-Sunbeam heated mattress pads (make for comfortable cool weather camping)

-Assorted kitchen gadgets (ie., Reynolds Handi-vac, onion chopper/slicer/dicer, good knife set/block found at estate sale).
-Set of Corelle dishes
-Set of T-fal cookware (found at yard sale for $2.00, cleaned up beautifully and been using for years).

-over the door hooks, over the drawer hooks, suction stick-up hooks.
-plastic drawer set for organizing all the nit-noids (one drawer has stationary, pens, desk items).
-tall table lamp (gives PUP a homey feeling and great for reading).
-plastic step stool (upside down allows mixing bowls to nest inside)
-small vacuum cleaner/attachments
-rag bag

There's plenty more, but that's all I remember at present!
