THIS IS A SELF SERVICE RALLY

Ok heres the plan.  Reserve America opens on April 1st (no Joke) for October.  We would like to go to San Elijo SB.  We absolutely love this campground, and always look forward to it.

So heres the deal, if you want to join us, you will have to jump on reserve america on April 1st 8am and reserve a spot.  I have some site #'s that I scoped out on out last trip, and I think Wayne has a few too.  They have both hookup and none hookup sites.  The really cool(big and cliff side) sites seem to be the non hookup sites.  I will post some sites to shoot for when we get closer.

Here is some pics from Wayne.

Some of the cliff-side, no hook-up sites will fit 2 or 3 rigs.....they're huge. I'll post the site #s after I go down and get my log book.

Yeah I have them written down too, but I had to give you something to do.... ;)

Can't we just run an extension cord across the CG??

wavery

We'll go for 59, 51, 39 and 41.
Here's th reservation link:
http://www.reserveamerica.com/campsiteSearch.do

Sites 11, 13, 15, 17-23 are all beach front, hook-up sites. They are high up on the bluff. Sites 10, 12, 14, 16, 22, 101-116 are all inland hook-up sites.

All odd # sites 25-51, 40 and 54 are all non-hook-up sites on the beach front.

Sites 40-54 are at beach level. As the numbers decrease, the sites are higher up on the bluff.(lower the # the higher up on the bluff)

I'd suggest downloading the latest version of GoogleEarth and check out the sites. If you see bushes at the back of the site, they may block the ocean view. Some of the sites (1-20) have a berm that may also obstruct the view.

Go to GoogleEarth......copy this...... 33 01 09N 117 17W ......and paste it into the search bar. It'll take you right there.

You can download GoogleEarth here:

From post #6:
"Sites 40-54 are at beach level. as the numbers decrease, they sites are higher up on the bluff."

So.....if some of us can get sites 40-54, they are right at beach level.

Look at pic #12:

If you look at Dieter's map:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/kutzweb/3381672005
the HC sites are the brite blue ones marked with "A" (Accessible Paved Sites). #58, 26 and 4 (in that order) would be the best. They all appear to be non-hook-up but I don't know that for sure. You might call them (760-753-5091).
