Quote from: Gracy;211735Hey guys.... I'm not sure how I wound up on the waiting list for this rally?  I read through and see that on post #103 I asked the same question.  I just happened to look at the front page and noticed me under waiting list and was surprised.  After we didn't have success when this rally was first put together I never added it to our calendar and if a spot opened up we would not be able to attend.  I'm sorry I didn't realize before now I was still on this so I'm really sorry but please remove me.  I don't want to keep anyone that was wanting to go from attending.  Again, sorry I'm just now realizing this and it was absolutely put on by mistake or misunderstanding.

Sorry again. :o

Too late now Gracy.....you & Shawne will just have to join us.....:-()

Ya know......at my age, it's a crime to wish the days away. I do enjoy each day and I look forward to what it brings....but.....I sure enjoy camping days a lot more than most days.......:sombraro:

Today, we go to the Beverly Hills Art Fair (today and tomorrow). If any of you enjoy art fairs, this is the best one that you could possibly imagine. Artists come from all over the world to share their work. We also have several local artists that are incredibly talented. Some of the stuff is quite pricey but it costs nothing to look and it's a great day in a beautiful spot.

It's located in the park,on Santa Monica Blvd, right across the street from BH City Hall and it stretches for 6 city blocks.. Come join us.....it's almost as good as camping.....and a fantastic experience for the kids.....:-()

OH you won't catch Dawnne at that.  Her mom is an artist, and she has spent many a weekend growning up going to every art show imaginable.

griffsdad

Hey Wayne - you should go to the art shows in beautiful Laguna Beach - home of the artists!!!!
Why choke in the smog of BH??

wavery

Well.....we just suffer along......

My brother used to live in Laguna.....we went to the art festival every year.....until we found this one. The creativity on display is simply staggering.

Carolyn almost had me talked into buying this for our Fallbrook home........problem, I'd have to mortgage the plae to buy it.

griffsdad

It must be almost 100 degrees in BH - hope you guys are OK.

It must be a cool 74 degress in Laguna :D

I don't know where Google has their sensor but I can tell you that it is wrong. In fact, ours now says 74*

Yahoo has it closer to acurate.

Quote from: dkutz;202316THIS IS A SELF SERVICE RALLY

Ok heres the plan.  Reserve America opens on April 1st (no Joke) for October.  We would like to go to San Elijo SB.  We absolutely love this campground, and always look forward to it.

So heres the deal, if you want to join us, you will have to jump on reserve america on April 1st 8am and reserve a spot.  I have some site #'s that I scoped out on out last trip, and I think Wayne has a few too.  They have both hookup and none hookup sites.  The really cool(big and cliff side) sites seem to be the non hookup sites.  I will post some sites to shoot for when we get closer.

Here is some pics from Wayne.
