Saw this and thought of you guys.  :)

One afternoon, a lawyer was riding in his limo when he saw two men on the side of the road eating grass.

Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop so he could get out and investigate.

He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass."

"Well then, you can come to my house and I'll feed you," the lawyer said.

"But what about our families?" the men asked. "They're over there in the trees."

"Bring them along," the lawyer replied.

The all got in the limo. Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said, "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us to your home to be fed."

The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it. You're really going to like my home. The grass is almost a foot high."

Brian, we defend the people who are being sued by the ambulance chasers of the world. I would assume that your joke is directed at them.

We can modify it for you
Dave: "why are you eating grass?"

Poor man: "because I lost almost everything playing poker"

Dave: "your in luck!!! We have game tonight and you can lose everthing you have left.  Ever heard of pimp daddy?"

Very very funny Brian!!!! At the last campout at Doheny, I started to play pimp daddy but when Dieter, Wayne, and Wayne's brother Don, started to realize that their chip piles were shrinking fast they wanted to stop playing PD.

All I got to say is that at Newport Dunes, you were the pimp far more than the other players, and yet we kept playing. Your the man!!!!

Yet when you're in trouble you need one. No more free advice for you for one year. My going rate is $250/hour.  :D

I will vouch that Dave is a very upstanding attorney who doesn't drive the court reporter crazy at depos.

Can't vouch for Lori -- never had a depo with her -- but I'm sure she's equally wonderful.

Miss all you guys!

Yes Dave.  I fixed your post for you.  You seemed to have put the wrong word in Bold lettering.  It was a joke.

Not at all.  I'm lucky to work three depos a week, and of course at least one of those will be a no-show.

But as of late, that's been fine.  I've been through a pretty rough patch with my mom.  I toolk her to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well, and next thing I knew she ended up in a skilled nursing facility.  I checked her out the next morning, but it was awful having to leave her there.  I had her with me for about 8 days, oxygen machine and nebulizer and walker and all, and then I spent another week getting her house in order.  She just can't keep up the housework anymore.  Now my life has been a whirlwind of medical  appointments and cleaning her house and throwing out almost 50 years of crap.  Thank God Paul is traveling for work and making up for my lost income.

Yes Brian it was a joke. No the bold was on the right word. You must have moderator powers. And yes it's all tongue in cheek.

By the way what's the big secret???
