I found where the private messages are located as well as the other descriptions of missing topics are:

If you want to look at your private messages, do the following:

You have to be on a page viewing anyones post's or threads!

At the bottom of the page, goto "FORUM JUMP".
Scroll to the top...
Listed under "SITE AREAS"
Second line down is "PRIVATE MESSAGES".

There you have it. I could not believe how many "UNCONFIRMED" messages have been stored. So now I am slowly deleting them each time I log on.
Maybe this is why the Administrator had to move to another server. His "in box" was full! LOL.

But the threads that I had subscribed to previously just for the information, have disappeared.

What I'm not liking is before next to where it says Welcom Dee4j it used to have how many NEW Pms you have and how many stored..that is now gone and I don't like that at all. I haven't found a way of seeing my PM status without going into the user CP.

It looks like that is fixed now...up in the right hand corner, it says, "Welcome DK&3 kids" and has private message status...maybe it's just taking time to get it back to having all the components we are used to...

Yes he is working on getting all our little shortcuts back to what everyone is used to. He did however lose the View new posts tabs...I have faith...it will all be back to the way we are used to in no time..

Carol, go to your buddy list through the user cp then checkmark the friend under each buddy.  At the bottom click save it will ask if you want to send friend requests... Say yes
