Just got back from our first camping trip of the season.
We got all set up at the campground and found that none of the gas appliances worked. :(  Figured it must be a stuck regulator, because I knew the tank was about a third full.
Fortunatly the camp ground had a resisdent camper repairman.  He also thought it was the regulator, but decided to check the the two hoses on each side of the regulator.  Sure enough, the High Pressure hose was plugged solid. :eyecrazy: This camper and hose are only 1.5 years old.  Replaced it and all was good.
Has anyone heard of an LP high pressure hose plugging up like that?  Other than that, we had a great time.

Well, that's the weirdest thing I've heard of!!! :screwy:  I would suspect that a bunch of gunk from the manufacturing process came loose and plugged the lines. In other words: the plumbers were not very careful nor caring much about the quality of workmanship. Is your warranty still in effect?

I'm glad the resident fix-it guy was able to resolve the problem. It's just a bummer when you have to take time out of a perfectly good camping trip to deal with those things. :banghead: :swear:
Hopefully you won't have to worry about it on future trips.
Good luck  :#

Was it plugged from the tank to the regulator or from regulator to the pu?

There's a couple other culprits that can cause an l/p line blockage ... Spiders and mud daubers.

It's the high pressure hose between the tank and the regulator.  I could understand spider webs and mud daubers in the low pressure side near the appliances, but not in the high pressure side.  The hose has not been off the tank since last camping season, so nothing could have crawled into it.   Anyhow, I've come up with a solution to keep it from ever happening again.  I'll just get a spare hose. :D
