I will be assigning sites next week..waiting to hear from a couple of people before I give the sites back to Newport dunes..

I will be asssigning sites this week..we MUST have 10 sites to get this price...

so let's not have anymore dropouts please...let me know now if you're not coming either the others will have to absorb the cost for 10 sites or cancel all together..

I'm still waiting for the activities calendar, but they always have many fun things for the kids to do

Wellll!!!!  I guess I'd better tell you now.......:morning:

We won't be able to make this camp-out.......:%

Okay, call me fickle.  :o

I just got an invitation for Easter that I can't pass up, and topped with a trip out of state later in the week I'm going to have to duck and bow out -- ducking in case Dee wants to throw anything at me ... Sorry guys.  I'll see you all at Santee later in the month.

I won't throw anything at you.. just getting worried we will have 10 sites

with that said..I need everyone to send their payments to me right away.

Pm me if you don't have my address

Dee4j

well another cancellation..I need to know right NOW if anyone else is going to bail out. I also need to know if we end up with 9 does everyone want to pitch in for that site? we MUST keep 10 sites for the group rate. not sure what the rate is, but I know we get at least 50 % off

let me know what you people want to do...If I don't have an absolute commitment from everyone by Monday. I'm canceling the rally altogether on Tues..

griffsdad

I'm afraid that we're not going to have 10 sites.

PopUpMomma

Oh Boy!!!
Dee, you should get our payment and the Allen Family's soon.  We mailed it out yesterday.  I guess if the rally is cancelled, you can mail them back....

Hope it's not cancelled.

yes I will mail it right back if we do or I can shred it which ever you prefer..

I hope not too..this will definetely put a tarnish on the SCCamper name at Newport dunes. I have 21 sites on hold and will have to cancel them 3 weeks from the event. This is why some campgrounds require a 30 cancellation or no refund...

If I wagonmaster a rally again, I think I will be collecting $$ immediately that way people are less likely to cancel.

that's what I'm worried about...

guinea has not been on the boards since Jan 4th.. I have sent a PM message thru PUT and an email thru PUT hasn't answered yet

Boothebunch replied to my txt said he was still going with his youngest daughter (but that can change)

SoCal Schlegals I accidently overlooked and never added to the list so I hope they didn't think they couldn't come..waiting for PM reply from late last nite

and Crowbar 4 Heather is scheduled for surgery on March 15 so not sure with them...waiting for answer to PM..

if 8 people camp we would have 3 empty sites (plenty of room for cars....lol) but would cost everyone another $28.05 for the weekend... if every agrees to that we still do it....

I need some feedback what you guys want to do

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to us at News Years camp-out. I had more cancellations then campers attending. :screwy:

I think that's the way it should be anyway. There are a few that jump in every list as soon as it is posted, then cancel just before the rally. I realize that stuff happens and there will always be some that need to cancel for one reason or another. I think that we've all done that at one time or other. It's just this "Getting on the list" just to have a spot in case they decide to go that is not right.

I have the opposite problem........ no one signs up for my rallies........ maybe it's my deoderant....
