Well, of course as soon as the temperature warms up the A/C has to go out. Turned it on last night to cool down the pup after a long day. Compressor comes on, but no fan to blow the air. It's a Dometic Duo-Therm, unsure of the model number, (older model -vintage 1994). Searching online, I see two possibilities; the capacitor may have faied or the fan itself is seized up. I just poked the fan through the vent, and it's not seized up. Does anyone know where I can find this capacitor, or a manual on the unit? Anyone had this same problem? What is the best fix? We have a week long trip scheduled out west next month, and this is a must have. HELP!!

If it were the capaitor, the compressor would not run.

May be just a loose connection on or to the fan motor. 1st step is to take your multi-meter and check to see if the fan motor is getting current. If it isn't, follow the wire back to it's source and check the voltage there. That unit may also have a separate fan fuse (inside the AC unit).

If you're getting current to the fan motor and it isn't running, tap the motor with a small hammer. If it doesn't start, replace the motor (or get a bigger hammer.....:) )
