San Clemente Group Site- Jan 8-9, 2010

I just booked the San Clemente group site (dry camping - water available). This is the same site that we had a rally in July of 2007. It was one of our favorite camp-outs. See pics:

There is plenty of room for 7-8 campers. If we have 8 or 9, a few tow vehicles may have to park in provided parking spaces adjacent to the area. In 2007, we had 7 show up. As you can see in the pics, there was plenty of room left over for 1 or 2 more campers, comfortably. 9-10 campers would be a squeeze and I would prefer to keep it to 7 - 8.

I paid $380 for the 2-nights. If we get 7 campers that will make it $55 each (for 2-nights).

Heck.........we can do February too. I was just sorta surprised when I looked and found that weekend open. Early January is usually bright Sunny weather. How often do you see rain on the Rose Parade???? ;)

Y-y-y-y-yaaaaa..........so what are you thinking???? You want to come and sleep on our campfire benches, instead of paying for a spot???? :confused:

Or are you thinking..... [SIZE="4"][COLOR="Red"]"FIREWOOD"[/COLOR][/SIZE]...............I think the CG might frown on that idea.


BTW...........they do allow tent camping and we can have up to 20 total vehicles....If anyone wants to tent camp with us, let me know.....we'll work something out. There's plenty of room for tents.

actually I was thinking they are awefully close and can't be moved back far enough :p  

Can't go to this one. That is the academic decathlon amongst the 27 on the team that determines which 9 are on the Div 1 team and which 9 are on the Div 2 team. it's an all day thing from 8-4 I'm team Mom and responsible for making sure the kids & judges are fed...but we may show up later ..if I'm still functioning at that point...LOL

GREAT!!!!!!!! We have [SIZE="6"][COLOR="Red"]6[/COLOR][/SIZE] so far and just need one more to make this a confirmed rally.

I will post confirmations on the 1st page when I get the checks in.

It would be fun to have some tent campers so feel free to invite your friends to come along. We will charge the tent campers $10 a day per car (same as a visitor would pay to just bring a car in for day use). That $ will go toward the total cost of the group site and will be divided between the paid reserved trailer sites.
