We usually camp where we have water and electric hookup, but recently we have camped at state parks where we had electric, but no water.  So I'm not used to remembering to turn off the switch for the pump when packing up and closing up.  Trip before last, when we got home the pump was running non-stop.  Raised the roof and pulled out the front bed out to get access to the switch and turned it off.  No damage done that I could find.  Next trip, we get home and I popped-up to clean.  Yep, I had left the switch on again.  This time the pump had maintained enough pressure to stay off.  I thought, if I did this twice, I'd probably do it again some day, so I put a switch just inside the door on the wall next to the radio/CD player.  Ran the wires under the couch to the water pump and switched the red pump wire.  Now I'll probably never forget to switch off the pump, but if I do, I can make sure its off without having to raise the roof and pull a bed out.  I suppose a switch placed under the galley (like for the lights) would have been a better solution, but it would have been much harder to run the wires.
