I have not been on the board much this summer, and I would like to apologize for that.

I have done a bit of camping.  For those of you that did not like my door latch.  You will be happy,:-() maybe...the old door latch broke, on the inside.  I was able to save the outside section so it is still hard to open.:eyecrazy:  The new inside handle does not fit right and I had to duct tape a close pin to the door frame so the door will latch tightly.  For those of you familiar with the Coleman/Fleetwood stepper door.  There is a small compartment at the bottom of the door.  The last time I towed the camper the door fell off.  I now have an open shelf at the bottom of my stepper door.  Not sure what I will do with that.  Any suggestions?  I am happy that DS camped 15 nights with me this year.  I don't know if it will happen again, but it was nice to have him camping with me this summer.  :tent:

You should post some pictures so we have a better idea or email them.  I would be glad to put my input in.

Scott last night I did post a few pictures from Assateague Island.  What I should do is post a few pictures of all of my mosquito bites.:D

Not unless you want me to top it with the picture of my allergic reaction to a bug bite from our scout trip to Cape Henlopen last month.  One bite blew up the whole hand.  By that night I couldn't bend my fingers.  Was suppose to go to the hospital but hey, EMT and a Guy, why would I do that.

Scott, you should know better!!

Will be camping 9/11 thru 9/13 at Greenbelt NP.  Doing this the hard way...Going to take the trailer down Labor day.  that was the last day the I could get a reservation, my Congressman could not help. That way I am assured a site (Will pay for Tues through Sunday when I get there) for the Tea Party and March on 9/12.

I was contacted by a family from Alabama about local campgrounds (to DC).

If you are concerned about the Czars, concerned about federalizing healthcare, concerned about higher taxes on the middle class, then join me camping on 9/11 for the March on 9/12.  Greenbelt is $16.00 per night. $8.00 with the Sr./handicapped access passes. And unlike MOST NPs, does have hot showers FREE on site.
