So I'm finally getting around to repacking the wheel bearings on my 2004 Coleman Yuma. Bought it last year and PO didn't remember last time it was done. Anyway, I pull off the dust cover and find a zerk fitting. Do I need to do anything other than just squirt new grease into the axel? If I go ahead and pull, clean and repack the bearings do I need to squirt more grease into the fitting anyway? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 2008 Yuma. Mine has a Dexter axle with the EZ-Lube system:

You are supposed to grease it by pumping grease in until it comes back out around the outer perimeter of the bearing. You can supposedly flush out the old grease by pumping new grease through. Its still a good idea to manually clean, inspect, and repack the bearings every few years, though. If the inner seal wears out then all the grease will end up in the brake drum.
