Quote from: Azusateach;214145I'll be bringing baby cinnamon rolls for breakfast and corn salad for dinner. And I won't be eating anything the rest of the weekend after all that food.

Hey Dave -- if I bring my portable satellite dish (just like yours) will you show me how to set it up? I've tried once in the old trailer and just got frustrated. If you show me how maybe I'll actually use it. Thanks in advance!

Laura -- and Jed

More than happy to help set it up - you may want to buy a portable/foldup table to put the dish on, and you will probably need a couple other things - 50' of satellite cable, (normal cable tv cable - coaxial cable will not work), and a male/female plug to join the cables together.

Ahhh ... satellite cable.  THAT'S what I was doing wrong the first time!  But I'll get everything and bring it and you can show me how to do it all the right way.  Thanks, Dave!

That's what happened to me. I was using spare cable from my cable TV co., and it didn't get a signal from the satellite. That's also why I have to thread the satellite cable through the bunk ends to the receiver because the outside and inside connections on the camper are for cable TV.

Alright!! Party 'round Laura's new trailer. :-():-()

Not to watch TV though. The entertainment will be outside.

Just bring your folding chair, some snacks and a drink and we'll all sit around and offer comments as Dave gets her satellite hooked up. This could rival the time-honored tradition of watching the new trailer owners back into their space. (Anybody watch us shoe-horn our way into Smithwoods? Apparently having the same trailer for 3 years does not always alleviate the "backing in" issue.)

Woo-Hoo!!!

dkutz

looks like we may have Sweat shirt delivery on that weekend as well...so we can stay warm while we watch, only after you all get done watching me try to back in!
