We really were looking forward to Mugu, one of our favorite spots.  But something came up for my sis, and she can't stay with mom that weekend.

So what's the protocol when someone refuses to comply...or has that never happened to you:p:p

Malena, we will file a motion to compel your attendance - we go see the judge ex parte and get the judge to sign the order to compel your attendance - you no show, we go see the judge again and get sanctions.
As you know, you have to report any sanctions over $200 to the State Bar. So what is it gonna be - you comin'?

Ouch!! But do you really think your ex parte will be granted? I've never seen that happen before!...unless of course YOU'RE the judge...in which case I'd insist that you recuse yourself.  

Seriously, we'd love to come, but just don't have anyone to stay with mom at this point.

Thanks Carol...we'll miss going as well. :%   It's really one of our favorite campgrounds.  

Anyway, hopefully someone will want to take the reservation off of our hands.  If not, we'll have to eat the cost of canceling. Which is like adding insult to injury if you know what I mean.
