I have an '04 Rockwood 1640LTD.  It has a 12" x 12" crank up vent on the roof.  Is it possible to have a AC installed?  I know most AC's use a 14" X 14" opening.  Thanks for the input.

Are you measuring the ID of the vent because standard is 14x14 hole.

The 1640 LTD roof has built-in AC supports.  The AC is mounted forward and more central from where the Fantastic Vent is located, so you can continue to use the vent when desired and the AC when needed.  Consult a Rockwood dealer.   I had the Carrier Air V AC installed in my Freedom 1610 by the dealer when I purchased it new.  The hole will have to be cut in the right location, the AC wire run across the inside of the roof (covered by a surface wire cover) and the AC bracket placed on the outside "driver side" of the roof.  Also needed will be the AC wiring kit, which includes another mouse hole for the AC wiring to pull out and extend up to the roof.
