Seqouia area N/S

Where is a good place to camp, I'll be picking up DW in Lincoln, Ca and then going south and we would like to camp for about a week, Dieter liked seqouia rv park and the meet in the middle was at another place which escapes me now. Looked at the places in the park and the week were looking at is after memorial day and the 2 campground with reservations (lodgeple & dorst) seem booked for the following weekend.....has anyone stayed at potwisha or buckeye flats.

We liked that campground its in three rivers, and I drove though a couple others. One private one in 3 rivers was BAD, the other one was In sequoia Potwisha. Which is an option but there are no hookups and the drive in with a trailer can be a bear. Its steep.
 
There was another Private one in Three rivers, http://www.kaweahparkresort.com/index.htm.  Didn't look so I cannot attest to it..
 
There is also the option of coming in from the other side which I believe opens up other options...
