The Park Manager where I'm working asked me to confirm that I was leaving this park at the end of the month. I hadn't actually told anyone an exact date, or even the month I was leaving. But 3 months ago I did make reservations at the Thousand Trails just south of here (both parks share the same General Manager), so I guess they saw my reservation at the other park.

I was not sure when and to whom I would give my notice to, but it seems to be a moot point now! I've been negotiating with Thousand Trails Orlando about working for them this winter, and they indicated that I need to apply in September and be available in October. The park I'm at now wanted us to stay until the end of October, which just wasn't going to work.

The hassle of being in demand, huh? You definitely can't be up north and down south at the same time.
Is it time to ask for a raise?

I've been leaving out the part about how disappointed I am with the management at this park, which is in part why I made those reservations a few months ago. Wasn't sure if I would stay this long, and figured it would be safe to have reservations in place for the Labor Day Weekend just in case. The plan was I could cancel them before hand, but at this point I'm so disappointed here I just want to get rolling south again!!!

Ahhh, a back story going on. If management stinks then it sounds like time to fly.
