On the move again....

Left Old Orchard Beach Maine almost 3 weeks, stopped at Thousand Trails (TT) Moody Beach in Wells Maine for a 2 week staycation, and since they have a shared manager, he immediately put me to work since he was short handed. Left there last Thursday to stay at TT Sturbridge Mass, manager here knows me too, but she didn't ask me to work. I leave here day after tomorrow (Thursday) for a one night stay at Lums Pond State Park in northern Delaware before heading on to TT Chesapeake Bay in Gloucester Virginia, spend 17 nights there, then move to TT Williamsburg (about 45 minutes away) for another week. After that it's southward bound, destination Florida!!!

Hey Cliff, you finally get some time off?
Hope the weather is good all the way to Florida!
Guess my oldest brother and his wife will be heading down soon. They have a small house somewhere around the Gulf side. He drives, she flies. He stops here on his way back home come spring.

Weather is definitely a factor today, severe storms all day in the New England area. Didn't want to travel in this, not just the rain & thunder, but the forecast for wind & hail. So I went to the campground office today, and luckily I know the manager, so she extended me for 4 more nights, I'll leave on Monday instead of today. Then I had to call the next two campgrounds and re-book them too.

On the subject of work, I've had a nice week off finally! This manager knows where I've been and what I've been doing, but she is fully staffed and didn't ask anything of me!

Whoa, glad you could stay put through the storms.

A whole week off? That's one of the only places I've heard of that doesn't have a staffing shortage!

Left TT Sturbridge on Monday, spent the night at Lums Pond State Park in Delaware last night (Huge - spacious sites with full hook up's), and today checked into TT Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, here for 2 weeks!!!

Hopefully Florida will be back to it's normal self by the time I get there late next month...

First image is to give you an idea of how big these sites are, and yes, they could use a lot more tree's! One of the few State Parks I've been to that have 50amp and sewer hook up's. It's a great half way lay over for me from New England to Virginia.

2nd image is my rig, note I was only there for a night, everything was nice & level so I didn't even un-hook the truck.
