We Did It!

Decided to stop by the RV place today. Not really looking to buy one, but........
They had a nice camper that fit the bill. Good for our needs and wants, and just a tad over our budget. But the best part is we get one free year of Thousand Trails membership on top of a few other perks. That sealed the deal for us. So, it's a 2017 Grey Wolf I think model is 24RB. It'll be ready to bring home next Friday. SIL just bought a newer truck too, a 2200 RAM turbo.

Welcome to the Thousand Trails family!! Not all of their parks are truly nice, but for $0.00 per night, you can't beat the price. I'll be meeting up with "TrailBlazer" from the old PUT site in a couple of months. He just upgraded his TT membership, mentioned me in the process, and I got a $500 bird dog out of it!

Thanks Cliff. Getting a year of Thousand Trails free was the perk that sealed the deal. Since we don't have our own TV our area selection was the midwest only. SIL will be our tow driver, guess we'll be filling his gas tank a few times this summer! Plan is he'll pull their TT one day, ours two days later on his days off. We'll do the 14 day camp and he'll haul each one back two days apart. Still looking for a seasonal spot, but now we have a year to search.

Nice!  Big windows    & lots of storage!   Nice bonus getting a year of Thousand Trails for free.  That's a great way to try it out and see how you like it.   Keep on your SIL's good side

It's Home! SIL towed it home for us yesterday, it's parked it in the driveway. We slept in it last night, the traffic noise didn't bother me like in the pup. Our dog wasn't sure at first, but he settled in. Once this rain decides to quit I got lots of things to check out.

You know Tim, that's about as dangerous as going to look at a puppy at the animal shelter "just to look....".  But it looks like you're already familiar with the process!   

Nice looking dog!  He's got the right idea for how to go camping.
