notrailendsI picked up the Coleman right before Christmas, on clearance at Wal Mart[:D], and like you I have yet to try it[:@]. Hope to change that in the next few weeks though. One good thing about the Road Trip, you can buy additional tops for it for grilling, frying, whatever.

notrailendsI have the grill to go, it is great for the front porch, but I would be hard pressed to take it camping.  I carry one of those tiny portable gas grills under the seat, in the Bantam, it is plenty big for the 3 of us.  The grill to go has a one piece griddly like thing. I have a griddle pan that covers the campstove top and is smaller and easier to clean, and I might add that the campstove, portable gas grill and griddle fits much easier in the camper than the grill to go. But is is all what you want and like.  You do not " grill"  steaks on a grill to go, you basically pan fry.

Now if you hve the Coleman Road trip, that is something different that I have no expierence with, it is a burner and a gas grill, that I might take camping or buy the new coleman stove that is a burner and a smaller grill all in the size of a camp stove.

notrailendsYes I have the coleman road trip sorry that was my mistake I typed in the wrong

notrailendsThe Coleman Road Trip grill has 2 sides- one a griddle and one a grill. I ordered one extra side of each so the whole thing can be a griddle or a grill. I also ordered two stove adaptors that turn the whole thing into a cooktop for pots and pans! So now I can cook in a pan while griddling sausage and pancakes, I can grill steaks for a crowd, Grill steaks for 4 and heat up a can of mushrooms, etc.
I would not leave it at home!

(I also ordered the carrying case for it to make it easier to lug around!)

notrailendsWe got the Coleman last summer and we love it.  I went on the coleman website and got two regular stove burners and carry case which is great.  It has wheels so it s pretty easy for Jay to manuever in and out of the camper.
