would be a ringer during the tryouts.  And not someone who allready sings these bubble gum songs, but a country singer (haven t heard of one yet on there), or punk, or something.   Would love to see the reaction from the " panel of judges" . Would be even better if they slammed him/her, then found out who he/she really was.  Just a thought.

birol

 rednekrubbrduckI would like to see:

 * That arrogant Simon getting smacked real bad by a BIG BAD BOY whom he insults real bad!

pheeeeeewwwwwwwww, I had to let of some steam, I hate that guy, sheees, he should get a life !

campertime

rednekrubbrduckWhat do ya mean? Simon makes the show funny and entertaining.

Even funnier is I know a group of people who call in and vote for the worst singers.  I have even heard some of them on the radio asking people to vote for a certain contestant. In the last group they were asking people to vote for Charles Grigsby and guess what.......... last week he made it to the finals.

I didn t hear the radio show today so I don t know who they we re gonna vote for tonight....

In the first series they were asking people to vote for Justin.

Funny stuff! A show where votes pick the winner and people are all voting for there own reasons like looks, terrible talent, best cleavage, goofiest hairdo, great talent, style, voice, etc.

Maybe we should pick presidents this way. Then we wouldn t need any recounts [8D]

marin

rednekrubbrduckI d like to see it yanked off the air! Along with: Survivor, The Bachelor, Big Brother, The Race, Fear Factor, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc! [: (]

rednekrubbrduckGood thing Marin did not mention Bachelorette ! :):):)

QuoteGood thing Marin did not mention Bachelorette ! :):):)

Forgot that one, I can t stand any of that stuff! I say pick up a book, and read. [:D] I have never been a huge fan of TV, but I do like some channels such as: TLC, Discovery, CNN, TCM. Just my opinion....but most of the stuff on now is just plain [: (] !!

birol

rednekrubbrduckI have just one addiction, PUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO BODY TOUCH MY PUT !!!!!!!! ARF ARF ARF

bikolee

rednekrubbrduckGotta agree with Marin. The majority of TV shows are nothing more than a bunch of junk. Would ve said something else, but this is a family board.......

birol

rednekrubbrduckI like watching Americas Funniest, that s about it ........ And Fraser, Scrubs, Friends, King of Queens, Raymond ..... 20/20 and the other one like it. That sums it up. We are cutting down on cable tv too anyways so what tv shows is not gonna be a big problem :)

Gamecock Camper

rednekrubbrduckYea, reality TV has gone way overboard.  Rear Factor (Simon), Surfiver,  B@#$hlerette etc are nothing but voyerism at its worst.  At least with Americas Funniest Videos the contestants are chosing what to have on national TV....

rednekrubbrduck

rednekrubbrduckI watched the first American Idol to watch Simon insult folks, and was dissapointed.  I ll just stick with That 70 s Show, and docudramas like Enterprise.  [8D]

Acts 2:38 girl

rednekrubbrduckI hate to say this, but right now I m hooked on Joe Millionaire and the Bachelorette! [:(]  I did get hooked on Big Brother too, but only because I wanted that Christian guy to win! They are all starting to annoy me, so this is proberly IT!  And even though I do get caught up in these shows, I still read a ton!  It s definatly one of my favorite things to do!

Popupnut

rednekrubbrduckI also agree with Marin - but sometimes when I don t want to think about the " real stuff"  anymore - and I don t have a book handy(rarely), I like to let my brain shut off and I have to admit I do crack up at some of the contestants on American Idol - I give a bunch of them credit for having the guts in the first place - I can t even handle kareoke.....
However, I do agree that the more we watch these shows the more it insults our intelligence and the more these shows are produced the worse it gets....
I don t watch TV every night - but I do watch some TV - I like the funny stuff.  Life is stressful - get a laugh when you can.  When it s not on TV - I come here and you guys always have me laughing!!!

missteri

rednekrubbrduckSimon actually makes the show interesting, although he d probably annoy me in real life.  He s better than Paula Abdul who just loooves everyone s voice.

I like Survivor, but that s it.  Can t stand Fear Factor or Big Brother.
