RE: membership renewal poll

At first I chose " include a subscription to the magazine" , but on further thought, I have change my mind.  I won t be coming back.
 
   As many of you have already stated, the mag and the forum are both thin and one is mostly a repeat of the other, so I end up reading the same thin material twice.  Couple that with the difference in the CDN $ (I know we got the membership at par the first time), I anticipate the cost to be more than the offering.
 
   In addition to the thinness of the two... I ve noticed a trend lately.  There have been many posts related to the very thing that (supposedly) turned people off in the first place...  " how many posts we had" .  It really surprises me that several of the " contenders"  for the elevated stature of first place have not expressed an opinion.  That is not to say of course that they didn t vote, they probably have.  I m not trying to point you out, mearly recognize a trend.
 
 I will continue to enjoy this site until the membership expires.  It has wained a bit for me lately, especially this summer.  When the time comes I will bid you all a bon-farwell.

Everyone has to do what they feel is right.  I have found a closeness to some people by just posting with " idle fluff"  as someone once put it.  I have in the past have been very down about things in my life as no one around me seems to go thru the problems I have, but with this site, I ve met people in the same circumstance or sometimes even a worse situation.  I have found a bond with a lot of people and hope to meet them someday just for a " hug" .

 Those " contenders"  may have voted, but don t really feel it necessary to post a reply.  Many people vote, but don t post.  I vote on every poll, but do deem it necessary to reply with a response for every poll.
 
 As far as this poll goes, Dave will do what he needs to do and as with last year, he ll loose some people and gain some people.
