Hey all,

We made it home without any problems.  It was good to see everyone again and to meet the familys I had not had a chance to meet before!  Other than being soaked, I hope everone had a great time.  Little Miss Flicka had a great adventure  and I am sure she will be ready for the next trip.  She tells Sabrina Hi!
Looking forward to French Creek.  Enjoy a beautiful Fall all!

The camper is back at the dealer and I am back home safe and sound...Sara and Neol walked up just in time to help with the backing...to tell me when to stop...hit a tree just backing into the site, not even to the trailer.

Rick I am soooooo sorry tohear about the camper...been there done that with one coming apart at the seam. I believe you and think it should be replaced.

Well lets see...it was good to see everyone. My new awning was nice, it was easy to roll up I just have to get the hang of a bag awning and a 7' reach.  Drew offered to help me put the kayak back on top of the minivan yesterday and I declined incase it was going to be used again,
I got it back up there today all tied and strapped, with the rain had to refigure the front ties, they got caught in the wipers...did that and it worked fine.

Took 183 to Reading and even though it had less traffic and lights, it also has a few bad grades, around Blue Mountain (at least that is what it is called).  Had to find an alternate route to the dealer as with the "tornetial" downpours the radio was telling me I missed, there were a bunch of accidents, then getting out of the dealers, I almost had to go right, US 13 is one of the major arteries from Dover...Nascar weekend...so not only was there a lot of accidents post downpour/pre letting out of a HALF MILLION people, per the radio report, from Dover, traffic was a mess even that far from Dover.

Rick, my dealer is going to have to not only finish what I requested, but turning the awning around, they put it on backwards, so the legs that were supposed to go to the ground was to the camper and the ones that were to go to the camper were in my tiki torch stands, the scollopped edge did not sit right and the metal end was facing out...everything was wet and most had to go in the minivan since the dealer's techs are working inside to move the battery and will be puttin in an out door shower...hopefully...by Cunninham Falls.

It was nice to meet the new folks and to see bear-bait again.  Oh Lee, the Lee on 141, IS NOT like my almost ex son-in-law...I was turned around and though the guy with the canoes, bikes and kids (and tents) were with us and THAT was Lee (the canoe guy on 139 is the one who is like my almost ex son-in-law)...Believe me I could not have been more wrong...Just trying to set the record straight...

We got home ok too. Popped up and got the camper and most of the stuff dried out and popped back down. That is good, because now the camper is not taking up so much room in the driveway. It was really good to see everyone, our old friends and a few new ones. I am sorry that I didn't get time to talk to everyone at the pot luck dinner. I will post pictures on my webshots account in a day or two.

Rick, sorry to hear about the damage.  That stinks.  Hopefully everything works out right and at least you have a ton of people that can testify that everything was fine when you left.  Not like it was starting to go and you didn't do anything about it.  Good luck with everything.

We got home around noon, and it rained the whole way home and it rained off and on all afternoon to boot!  This really was another COTOC trip!  My cold is a little worse today, maybe because I was soaked to the bone yesterday popping down.  Oh well, it will get better.  I had lots of fun and it was good to see all the old friends and meet new ones too.  This is a fun group.  Just wish that the weather would cooperate for once. :(  Thanks for a good time.
