 kathybrjgarym053,

Must admit, that was the most expensive choice I have ever heard of.

Just think, I spent as much money on an entire weekend of camping, as one of your cups of wine cost. (Camp site included)

But man..... that must have been great!!!

The wine my wife brings down camping is usually in the $ 5.99 a gallon range.

We call it " Ginzo Red"

Definitely need to camp along side you sometime.

     Keep your kindling dry,

      Hoppy

A nice bottle of Merlot, or Cabernet Savigion. We just enjoyed a $200.00 bottle of 1979 Chateau Lynch Bages that I bought for our anniversary last year but never got around to drink because it snowed and I wanted to go Cross Country Skiing!
So we enjoyed it last night at the campground and celebrated my sister s anniversary along with ours! Ever drank $200.00 wine out of a red party cup before? It just filled 4 glasses. We were joking around that we were drinking $50.00 a glass wine and had no electricity or water!!!

I agree with hoppy, I d like to camp with you.  DH always makes fun of me with my twist top bottle or carton of wine -- no corks for me[;)]

QuoteYup, I have lexan wine glasses  )

Me too!  LOL   I also finally packed a glass one from one of the wine festivals in the PU. Not the same as my favorite Reidels....but doesn t hurt as much to break! [;)]

I like a glass or two of wine...DH will have an occasional beer or Rum and coke...but mostly it s water...DH would agree on MILK though...(ugh for me...) but he ll go through a gallon in a couple days!

Wine glasses??? I just use the plastic glasses in the PU - although wine glass does sound better -- more of a workout to keep getting up to re-fill the glass[;)]

DC

 kathybrjIn the morning....fresh brewed coffee.

 Afternoon.......usually just cold water.

After 5:00PM......I normally have two half gallon jugs of the grog from the local brewery on hand in a cooler full of ice.  Best stuff ever.  Scottish Tartanic Ale and Yellowstone Lager.  No preservatives, not pastuerized...all organic.  Each around 7.8% alcohol content.  Costs only five bucks to fill a 1/2 gal jug(and ya get a pint for free while waiting!).  Takes only a couple pints for a cool buzz and there s no hangover effect.

I ve been drinking this stuff for years.  When I go to parties...I bring my own beer.  I took a Bud Light someone offered the other day.  GAWD was that gross.  I ll never drink domestic again!

Never had, but heard they were the pits ------

what about MD 20/20 and Boones Farm

My preference in my younger/stupid days (when it was cool to drink 3.2 beer) was the beer seen.  Some friends preferred the MD and BF
