HELP!!  I just can't seem to figure out how to read posts!!  My brain is pretty fried from moving, being up at night with the baby, and unpacking (does it take everyone this long to unpack??)  The format is excellent, but how come when I click on a post I just get everyones responses and not the origional question?     Help!  I miss being on, and try to as much as possible, but with all those boxes in the garage I feel guilty sitting here cruisin'!!  :)

Oh, love these new smilies!!   :S

I think the problem you are having is in viewing posts that were transfered from old board.  All the original posts are missing and it only shows responses.

New post don't act that way.

It's good to see you getting back on.  Are you all unpacked and settled?

Acts 2:38 girl

Still trying to get settled!  I hardly ever get to get online lately!  Right now the kids are settled down with a movie, baby is sleeping, and dinner is cooking!  Whew!  How do people move more than once in a lifetime??  ;)

On the old post the original post can be found down in the thread.  I don't know if the first post is always at the end of the old post, but it is that way on some of them. :)

I moved twice in an 8 month period.:(  Luckily I had gotten rid of years of collected stuff by donating to a bargain box that will sell everything and make donations to local charities.  Amazing how much one can accumulate.

The latest or newest post is right under the box you type the reply.  It makes it easy to review what was just posted while you are typing your reply.  At least that is how it looks on my screen.

Glad you are moved Andrea (and Lee). We have missed you both on the board. There have been a few little quirks to get used to, but overall the board is better!

'I' would like to know why sometimes I have NO post show up when I submit a reply.  Very annoying to write over the course of 15 or 20 minutes and then have it go *poof*.

I'm saving the reply now before I submit it just in case.

wynot

It did it AGAIN!!!!!

WHERE DOES MY REPLY GO TO when I hit submit??  Does it know when I don't copy it to a clipboard just in case it does it??  I had just written how that happens to me with this new board.

GEESH.

Here is what you said that disappeared ..."'I' would like to know why sometimes I have NO post show up when I submit a reply.  Very annoying to write over the course of 15 or 20 minutes and then have it go *poof*"

I think it's your color choice that is the problem here....

When I just view your post, it looks like there is nothing written, but I CAN see what you said if I click reply... it shows the text you wrote and your color selection. What color is color=#f1f1f1?

This is what all the colors look like.  I think you are using some color rule code that this program doesn't recognize so it comes through the same as the background color

Here is your post with color#changed in the reply quote.  Go back and edit your post's color rule and it will all magically appear.

Don't feel bad... I've noticed that oldmoose's post are doing the same thing... no text in post.  I'll bet oldmoose is using an unidentified color rule too!Yup!  I just checked.  it was #f1f1f1 just like you had used
