The preparations for the June Western Rally are in full swing, and I have 40 sites booked at Pismo Coast Village for the weekend of June 24,25, 26 & 27th.
Visit us at the Rally section of the board for updates and more information
Of those 40 sites, 38 are spoken for. That means I have only 2 sites left.

MrFlinders has put togerther a very nice website with the latest information on the rally. Please visit it to make sure we have your correct arrival and departure dates.
//www.sccampers.org/pismo2004/general.html

In order to speed up the sign in process when you arrive at Pismo Coast Village, I need to send them a list of who is attending, with their first and last names, and a mailing address, so you can be in their computer system. So can everyone e-mail me at KevinjQuigley@attbi.com with that information.

The cost per night is $41 per site. This includes the added cost of renting the Recreation room for all day Saturday, so we can use it for the Saturday morning breakfast, Saturday evening potluck, and any activites during the day such as a home brew demonstration, or any of the kids activites.
I will start collect a deposit of $41 from everyone, once you have e-mailed me, I will respond with my address where to send a check, made out to KEVIN QUIGLEY. I will hold on to the check until a week or two before the rally before lodging it and then be then collecting the remaining amount from everyone at the rally, and then paying them.

So please visit us at the "Western Rally Forum" http://www.arveeclub.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53
where we need your input on activities, food, photo contest, and whether we should do Tee-shirts for this rally.

Kevin,

Thanks for doing such a great job. I've sent you an email with my info.

If anybody has a connection for Rally t-shirts, I'm in for 5 of them.

If there's a homebrew demo - I'd like front row seating ;) .

If anybody is interested or would like to know more about Geocaching (http://www.geocaching.com/) - I'd be happy to put a group together & explain it & try to find some local caches in the Pismo area.

Thanks Kevin, I sent you an e-mail with all our info.

Kevin thanks for all your efforts in organizing the rally. I can't wait.  Dan may or may not attend if he does he will join us Sat. until Mon.  It's nice camping with fellow PUers I feel more secure when DH can't come. I know someone will keep the boogieman away (maybe my campfire should do the trick   ;) )

Rich:  save me a seat in the front row too  :p

Jaqui: since we have the rec room all day, should I make a craft like at canyon RV?

Deidre the craft idea is a great idea.  Kevin has an activites thread on the 2004 rally info page.   If you do the craft, plan on a lot of kids.  If you need help cutting out die cuts let me knwo.  Bring it along to Yucaipa and you will get a bunch of help from Kendra and I.

You have me confused Deirdre. Exactly how many nights do you need the site for. In your e-mail you eleuded to being there with the kids on Fri-Sat and DH being there Sat-Sun. Will you be staying till Monday??
QuoteI know someone will keep the boogieman away
You needen't worry. No Boogiemen on this rally as neither Surfcal, Red Neff Barchetta, Sactocampers, Calstate360 or Civil War Buff can make it ;)

Definetly do a craft Deirdre. The rec room will be a great place for it. I did put a photo on the webshots album.
I have tried to keep a total of the kids, and with 38 families we will have over 40 kids showing up.

Just sent you an e-mail Kevin. Looking forward to meeting all the NNCers and subversively working on my Dh for a hybrid.  ;) :Z :D

mrflinders

Please put us down for Thur-Sun.

Thanks,

I really don,t even know if my (our) schedule will permit, but I figured I had better first ck and see if there are any spots left.  I have not been to a rally since Casitas in Oct of 02.  This one sounds like a hoot!
Please advise.

Hi Goldbender.  Haven't seen your name around in a long time.  This rally should be pretty stupendous.  Keven (6Quigs) has reserved 40 sites and I believe he has 3 remaining.  You can look up the rally info on the "Rally Forum".  He has started to take deposits.

Wow!  Now there's a name out of our sordid pasts!!  How are you Glenn?  Casitas was the start of this whole group so Ithink that makes you a founding member! ;)

We'd love to see you again at Pismo--and Keith (I'm drawing a blank on Keith's wife's name :( is it Brigitte?) Be sure to check with 6Quigs (Kevin) before the remaining 3 sites go! Just e-mail him; his e-mail address is in his first post in this thread.

Glad to have you back--hope you'll be staying awhile! :)

Rich,
Front row seating is customarily reserved for "barrel monkeys"  the affectionate moniker we brewers use for the eager apprentices that are tasked with all the scrubbing and cleaning duties.
This is a vitally important job - not to be taken lightly! :D

You'll learn first hand the brewing is more cleaning that cooking ;)

Well I gues a few brews are required before we start doing anything! It always makes cleanup that much more tolerable.:D

Dee4j

Kevin- Sorry for the confusion, sometimes I don't even understand what I mean

I wil be PUing Thur -Mon with my DS & DD . IF my DH comes up he will be there Sat-MON.

6Quigs

Goldbender, I have added your name to the list.

Send me an e-mail to kevinjquigley@attbi.com with your home address, and real names, and your arrival & departure dates.
I will then send you an e-mail giving you my address, where you can send the deposit check.
That way I will be able to contact everyone by mail or e-mail should there be any problems with arvee club or any of the web sites being unavailable.

Dee4j,
in future, I will only half believe any messages you send early in the morning.

Thanks to all who have responded so far.
I'm getting Mr Flinders to work on keeping a webpage on SSC up to date with any changes, so we'll put a link on NNC website directing anyone to SSC for this rally.

Still looking for volunteers with activites and someone to design and organise tee shirts
