I absolutely LOVE this thread!  Here, we have made this person "famous" and they are just going about their normal life with  no idea how many of us are focused on this question,  waiting with 'bated breath for their identity or how many of us are constantly checking this thread to learn the next step in this adventure.  Hmmm, maybe we could make a TV reality series of it?

I'm pretty certain now that it was Paul L, and Elisa, if you had ever met him, you would find that he is the most unassuming, down to earth, genuine nice guy around, which makes the attention we're all giving this thread even funnier! :J

As soon as he responds to my e-mail, I'll let you all know if we have a winner!

this is really tooooo wonderful--someone so quiet and non-LOOK AT ME and he is  FAMOUS--over 700 hits on  this thread from all of us waiting to shower PaulL with our attention and our "bravos!"  I wonder if he will think we are a bunch of wackos for being so curious about this?  My goodness, he is a celebrity from coast to coast!

IWe're all looking forward to what you find out.  Sounds like some pretty good detective work has been going on here!  :p

So did he reply ?

Nothing yet.  I sent him another e-mail last night, but he may be camping.  He probably thinks I'm spamming him! :J

NightOwl

:-()  :-() almost 800 hits because we are all so excited about a bumper sticker. :W Whoever has it (I hope it's PaulL :#) will be our hero! :S

Lori,

G said that she had to drop PaulL because his e-mails kept coming back as undeliverable.  That's the news from CSI--Southern California

CSI = Camper Sticker Investigations

I go away for a few days, read this and expect that the mystery is solved and  :banghead: , we hit a brick wall again.  So how do we contact him???  The saga continues. :D

:# gsm x2--is there something in the water out there?  if so, bottle it up and sell it, will you please.  You'll have the whole country laughing and it will lower coronary  risks, spousal abuse, the murder  rate, blood pressure,  divorce rates, end  insomnnia, incidence of dog bite etc etc.

I have 2 e-mail addresses for Paul L.  I sent my e-mails to both and only his earthlink account bounced back.  I think we're still in the hunt.

CSI...I like it!  Does this make me Grisham? (I did recently make a "bug jar" quilt for Griffin if that helps to qualify me...) ;) :J

NightOwl,

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Southern California lead the nation in coroonary risks, spousal abuse, murder, blood pressure, divorce rates and insomnia?  I think it IS THE WATER....Northern California sends us their yellow snow in liquid form.

Anyway--the reason I am here is to let people know that I put the 700+ compiled PUT database out there for those who want it.  It's at:

Thanks, Scott!!  Already bookmarked!  Maybe you should start a separate thread for it, so people who aren't keeping up with the CSI team will know about it ....

Lori... I only had the Earthlink address. :(  If you do get through to him would you please have him contact me so I can get him back onto our contact list.  Even IF he isn't the World Famous Bumper Sticker Phantom.
