since the setup of this Rally the Viking (brian) has bought a new TT which is 31' so it will not fit in H1...He needs to switch with someone in H2, H10, H12, or H14... so I'm looking for volunteers. I don't want to switch someone and find out they have already made reservations for Thurs nite on their own...
Speaking of...I want to come in Thurs night but will not pay the $120 for the supersite and would rather pay the group rate and move in the morning so can everyone post what days they plan on attending.
BTW if you plan on coming in a day early (thurs) and leave a day later (monday) I suggest make your reservations soon, I had to switch spots at the last minute last year because my spot was reserved.
Okay...I'm back on-line after vacation and have updated my first post on page 1 with dates of arrival and deparature and Viking's switch request.

Hey Viking, I like your hat!  Don't be surprised if Karen tries to get it from you, she is a hard-core Minnesota fan.

Jeanne: welcome back :D   I checked out the first page we are leaving on Sunday, I only paid Supersite for Fri & Sat...hmmm the temptation to stay longer is great...aaakkk you're killing me :banghead: The kids have off Friday for Veterans day but not Monday so not sure I can take them out 2 days. we'll see
Hopefully someone will volunteer to switch spots so you don't have to pick someone.

They can have my hat when they pry it from my cold dead head.  LOL

Yikes!  Well, I guess she will just have to stick to her Helga braids then.

Dee,

We are purchasing a 2003 wonderer M-231 DT SLD.  I beleive it will be too long for our spot that I wanted..I haven't sent money for spot yet because I knew we were looking for an new TT...Is there anything we could fit in?  its 27 closed and 31 fully expanded.

Unless we find a deal we just can't pass up at the October RV show in Pomona, the size of our pop up won't be changing. ;)

Yep, sounds like a Hybrid is coming soon, squeaks and all!

Okay troops--time to get this thread active again.  I'm ready to start collecting the moolah so if you don't have my address from the contact list you can email me at jbwaynospam@aol.com ("jbwaynospam@aol.com")  (take out "no spam") and I will get it to you.

The discounted rally cost per campsite is $72.94. I've already paid a deposit and I need to pay the balance due by October 11th.   I will hold the checks until late September/early October but I want to start collecting now so I know that we have committed campers because the discount doesn't apply if we don't have enough people.

As far as the campers that have upgraded their rv's, I found out the following from Campland about site sizes:

H-1 (The Viking) site size is 43 X 19

and

H-4 (Sue Hardee) site size is 45 X 18

If these sites aren't roomy enough let me know.  The thing is, some of the longer sites aren't as wide so there may be a problem with slide-outs.  For example, H-10 (Russinator) is 49 X 11.

Also, we now have a waiting list.  1.  BootheBunch and 2. Banshees.  Let me know if anyone else wants to be added to the waiting list.

Let's get this party started!

T minus 4 months!!!!

TheViking

Well, I'm 31' long tip to tip, and 8'6" wide.  (I mean my TT is, not me)
And since Dee is so unwilling to give up the Supersite, H-1 should work fine for me as long as I can park my truck somewhere.  It is around 18' long so that puts the whole package at 49' or so.

Chez Way

I was wondering if anyone is checking this thread?  Anyone out there?  3-1/2 months until the Dee B-day Rally.

OT --
We are off to Paso Robles tomorrow for an overnight kid-free getaway...yahoo!  On Wednesday we are headed for Pismo for our annual family get together.  Anyone else have upcoming trips planned?

Sadie (our new Lab) ate some wood glue 2 days ago...yikes.  Never a dull moment with a puppy in the house.

Have a good weekend everyone.
