Finally, it's getting close - we are all going bananas:-() waiting for it to get here!!!  Dan's putting on the new a/c to the pu this weekend.  I hope we don't need it then though!!!

It's early enough in the season, you should be fine. :) I'm more concerned about making sure that my heater works for the nighttime temps. ;)

the kids are off this week and I thought about a little mid-week trip, but my house is a wreck (what else is new??) and I have a yearbook to finish.

As on offshoot to Dee's and my conversation in the geocamping event thread....
 
Is anyone up for a geo-camping adventure Saturday after breakfast?  We just bought a GPSr (a Garmin Map60cs--I think the only thing it won't do is give me a pedicure!) and we're really getting into this sport.  We planned on going last night after we had finished dinner but dinner ran late, and I almost called it off b/c it was getting dark.  Just the mention of possibly not going brought Griffin to tears!  
 
Let me know if you'd be up for this.  There are 2 cahces that I'm thinking of that look kid-friendly.  One we would have to drive to, but it's close by.  The other is right at the cg! :)

okay now I'll go for sure..I love a good adventure now that I don't have to rely on me working my GPS...hmmmm maybe I'll give Dave my Book and he can tell me in english how to work it.

Hey Brian, you know that you and Kristi are only going to do yard work that weekend if you stay home.  Call VLR, get a site, and come camping with us! :D

We are hosting a Birthday bash for my DD that weekend, complete with the blow up jumping thing and I don't know how many screaming 8 to 10 year olds.  Believe me when I say if I could be camping that weekend I would be there.

Oh crap!  The b-day isn't till August
