We are all unloaded, cleaned up, and we even mopped up the two soda cans that exploded in the camper on the way home. :swear:   We  had a great time!  Got a little nippy there at night but had the fire blazin.  One of my highlights was hearing Zac say "That's the first fish I have ever caught"!  We are looking forward to going there again in the spring.  Dee, say hi to Mr. Buzz Buzz for us!

DK&3kids

Well - we made it home a bit faster thanks to being pushed by the wind and Sunday traffic.

Brian and Kristi - THANK YOU for all of the cooking you did and Dan's yummy cake! ( and the carne asada...oh my!)   What a great campground - can't wait to go back.  Seeing fish actually being caught was way COOL!

Dee - THANK YOU for the steaks, the poster and balloons and for letting Dan play Apples with us - YOU have a funny man.

Bob - THANK YOU for the wine and the company - we enjoyed getting to know you better.  (and I'm sure the wine will help me cope w/teaching so I don't have to resort to zip ties and duct tape)

My Dan was very touched (awwww...) by his b-day party.  You guys rock!:D

 Buzzingly yours,
 Kristi:yikes:

Yes, you all surprised me and I don't usually like being surprised, but all  of you did it #1 class beginning with the huge poster and then making that  awesome steak dinner fit for  a king, followed by the birthday cake. I wanted to  thank you all again, it made turning one year older fun.:)

The kids also had a blast playing together along with fishing in the lake just  steps away.

I posted some of the pictures we took, here is the link Pictures

What a neat place.   You had water front campsites.  I love the circle of campers.   That fish was quite a catch!!  Welcome back everyone

We miss you guys too.  Life is pretty hectic right now.  I am working full-time at Wally World (4pm-midnite).  I am a walking zombie most days.:eyecrazy: :%   But it is sure nice drawing a paycheck again.

To all my fish squad friends from Indian hills campout...
Theresa had alot of fun as did I. We were very happy to have made this trip even thou it took me two hours to get there when it should have only taken 1 hour! I now where this great campground is!
I got to spend some good quality time with Dee as we were the last two around the campfire! Our circle of trailers was a good idea Brian! Also thanks for sharing your facilities when we needed them.
The lake being so close meant more time fishing. Theresa catching two fish back to back was great. All of your cooking and the food: one word: Awesome!
To Dan & Kristi, Love your new trailer and tow vehicle! Enjoy the wine, I hope that it will lessen the need for the duct tape and zip ties! We do need to get a set of tools for all of our trailers.
Sorry that my wife, Trina was not able to come along. She missed out on the great steaks and the carne asada was super. Thanks to Brian and Kristi and everyone who contributed to each of our meals.
Lastly I want to thank each of you for having us share in the fun and enjoyment of camping with all of you.

We are going to have to make it a point to do this again when the "Behind the Gate" area opens up in the spring.  I know we are looking forward to it.

Count us in...the kids have all been asking when we can go back!

darksiders

hey, it looks like ya all had a great time...it's cool you set up in a group...seems fairly private and the lake looks cool, too.
sorry we missed it.
sign us up the next time it's scheduled!!
:)

and the cool thing is there is no "quiet police".. if the whole fish squad gets together maybe we should go near site 8??

I liked being lakeside, but maybe we'd be too spread out then?  I guess it depends on how many sign up.  If we had you on site 4, then we could set up that pad as a karaoke dance floor! :yikes:  BUT site 8 is closer to bathrooms for PU's that need them.  YOu know we're easy.

TheViking

The "Behind the Gate" sites close in October and do not open again until May. So we have some time to figure everything out. Something to ponder though is the Group Rates. It would just depend on how many of us would be interested. Here is a link. http://www.indianhillranch.com/frameindex.htm - Click on the Blue box on the right.

For those of us that went there last weekend and knows the area, notice that the Lake area would be for our group only if we did the group thing. It would be like having our own country.  Shoot, I think I would even try my hand at Wagonmaster.
