Is this an unusual occurance for your area?  Would imagine snow might be fairly common in the mountains, even in SoCal.  In the end, better you than us.  Actually are you in drought situation?  I think I remember seeing rather widespread drought in the Southwest US on TWC.  Snow might be welcome for you if so.

We had snow on the ground in the Bay Area. San Ramon, Lafayette to name two local towns. And of course Mt Diablo got it share. Snow warning till Monday morning,last night warning down to 1000 ft..

We had a few flurrys here in Vegas around noon today. I left Wisconsin to get away from the snow!!!

We are only around 2300 feet in elevation, we are in the desert, where temps reach 105+ in the summer, and came here from Arizona where we lived fo 30+ years.  Needless to say if it snows it a pretty exciting event here.  I only had room to post 1 pic on my webshots webpage.  Go to the Snow folder.  Didn't get any overnight though.  It kinda sucks though, the DD is back in Az with grandma so she's bummed she missed it.

We had approximately 5" of the stuff last night.  Snow day and everything for the kiddos!  It was in the 50s the last couple days.  Man I hate it when this happens!   :p [/FONT]
