ARE WE THERE YET!!!!

We just got back from camping today and we are really ready to go again. In fact, we popped up, when we got home, to dry things out good and we are already packed to go to Buellton. :-()  :-()  :!

Just remember to change the name of the kids ;)

can you tell I'm Irish :D
Okay, Dee.  Can you tailor a note specific to David missing a water polo team workout?  I KNOW his coach is going to end up calling some horiffic practice/torture session for that weekend since it's a long weekend.  He really needs a girlfriend so he'll ease up on the weekend stuff.  Seriously, David sees his surgeon next week, and I'm going to ask him not release David until after the campout to bolster my position in case the coach calls a practice for that weekend!!

I'm sure the Doc would extend it. It's not like he's collecting workman's comp. It's only 2 weeks.
if not let me know ..This twisted mind will think of something :J

and you need to impress upon the coach that long weekends are meant for resting and family time.

Reread my post about him really needing a girlfriend!!!!  It would put him in a much better mood, I'm sure, if he was getting a little "attention" from someone, hopefully of the opposite sex!  :p

ok. I was reading back in the posts. and we haven't had much mentioned about the potlucks lately.  (I think everyone is drooling over AJ Surs)

I think from what I read was we want breakfast potluck ..especially for those going wine tasting :eyecrazy:

and we were going to do dinner pot luck too. there was a mention of holding it later at 7 pm since half the group will be out gallivanting. in the grape fields.

I saw mention of 7 pm...was this decided???

Dan doesn't care when he eats, the kids usually don't eat until 6 pm normally so not a big deal for me

thoughts...anyone?? bueller? anyone??

Recumbentman

Most wineries close at 5pm and we should be back to the CG no later than that.
So I would think 6 or 6:30pm would work.
drinking all day can make a person hungry or so I am told  ;)

cjpoppin

Sounds good......I'm easy......What works for the group is good for us......carol

6 Sounds good to us :D

griffsmom

6 is fine for the potluck, but I'll want to be back to the cg from the wineries no later than 4.  DO cooking is not known for its speed...

Maybe we should make it a little later.

Brad since you are organizing the wine tour it sounds like we need to be back 2 Hours Before Potluck time, so if we want to keep it at 6 pm then we have to be in the campground by 4 pm sharp otherwise we need to move up the potluck until 7 pm

after driving everyone around I may need to be back by 4 pm for a drink...so I can catch up :D

Karen did you say you got the clubhouse??

Boo Hoo.  Kristi's trip to Oklahoma last month got cancelled by ice storms so she's going over Prez' day instead.  That means it's Jim and two tots.  Stop tormenting me with wine tasting talk.

I may walk down the street to Mosby.  It's one of my fave's anyway.

yes, i have reserved the clubhouse for dinner. i really think it would be pushing it to have dinner at 6:00. meandering thru wine county is time consuming. i myself don't want to rush back...it's not that often that i get up to that area.

here's a suggestion...maybe we could group up those who have time consuming dinner items, so they can return early to prepare their items.

i think dinner should be no earlier than 6:30p, otherwise it's gonna be tough for us to get dinner on the table in time!

what do you think?
