since you can't do reservations until 3 months before we have plenty of time to decide

Lopez in July was hard enough to think that far ahead..

if you plan it...we will come :D

Like you said Dee, we'll see how Santa Paula works out.   If we do Calico for next Halloween, I think the KOA is our best bet and we'd have to get reservations started in Jan.

The only good thing that the Campground at Calico has going for it is that it's next door to it.

We'll see what happens

Kim,
Whichever site you and the group choose will be fine with us.  I hope there is still room.  We'd prefer full hook-up.  BTW, we appreciate all the work you've put into this.

I will say Mid to upper 70's during the day, 40's at night.  Could be windy, maybe not.  If it rains the week prior the dust will be minimal.

We went there last year for the FREE night deal in May and the weather was wonderful. It wasn't too hot nor too cold - it was just right. It really wasn't windy and had a wonderful time both at the KOA and Calico.  When you go there, be sure to go through the cemetery because it's actually a really neat place.
