We have a 2000 Coleman Cheyenne.  And just wondering what other people do.  I think our largest bed in a queen size and you have to sleep long ways.  So of course dw wants to sleep cloest to the exit so she can use the restroom in the middle of the night.  So that leaves me at the far edge.  How exactly am i to get out of bed when shes in it, and get in bed if shes in it, i feel like im rock climing just to get out of the bed if shes in it.  Does everybody else have the problem or is it just me?

You could sleep head in/feet out, we do that sometimes. That way nobody has to worry about climbing over the other.

How about she sleeps in one bunk and me in the other?  Afterall, at my age, a guy has to get his rest!

Hey..........we kind of enjoy climbing over each other :-()  and we're in our 60's.

I sleep on the outside and I get an extra hug every time she gets up and back. That's OK by me :D......heck.....that's half the reason we go camping. :p

At my age a woman needs her rest too!  :D Separate bunks with an occasional visit is fine with me.

My  husband and I actually sleep  longwise with our heads toward the center of the camper. We felt more "sway" with our heads out, especially when one of the kids got up in the night. It seems like someone (or the dog) gets up in the night, so the fewer disturbances the better!

We have always slept with our feet at the bunkend opening. I am 5'7" and hubby is 6'. His feet hang over a little but mine don't (our bed is the same size as yours).

We sleep across the bunk and just climb over and enjoy that part of it too.  It's camping!

I sleep with the youngest kid ~ she doesn't take up much room.  She wakes me up and we climb out together if she has to get up during the night.  (Hasn't happened yet ~ hope I didn't just jinx myself!)

Back when I had a SO ~ I slept closest to the trailer in case kids needed me in the night.

We sleep with our heads to the end of the bunk and our feet hanging off a bit.

The bed is a little longer from side to side, but neither of us can stand feeling trapped.

DW get the yougest DS and I get the oldest DS. 4&6 they don't seem to get up in the night either. Thye freak with thunderstorms(or as 4yr old say dunderdorms) and they both slept right through the first one. I think DW and myself are up more than the little ones.

I read the title and just had to check out what this thread was about! LOL

Now that my mind is out of the gutter.....we sleep length-wise where someone has to climb over the other. It's just more fun that way.
