We'll be camping at Flying Flags from Thurs 8/9 through Mon 8/13  in a standard site (all they had left) in section L across from the playground. If you'd like to join us, better call quickly--space is going fast.

Oh, you all have fun!  I'll be in Connecticut, with trips to an Amish B&B, the Hershey Chocolate Factory, and then NYC & an apartment on E. 74th & Madison Ave.  Can't call it camping, but I'll be thinking of you!

I'll be there with Jason and Melissa for Sunday night.  We'll be on the way to Santa Cruz.

Lori, if you want next door neighbors could you email me with your site number (or last name- I don't have my list handy)?  jimqpublic at gmail dot com.

See what happens when you post an open invitation to the internet?

Have fun, you all!!  We'd love to go...but, no time.

Okay, we're booked.  I'll call Flying Flags later and see if we can be sited by Griff's family.  For the record I voluntarily paid an extra $11 for section "L" just to be with our SCCAMPERS friends.  That and the shade.  We actually haven't decided whether to bring the trailer or to tent it.

From there we head to the Santa Cruz/Felton area for three nights at Henry Cowell Redwoods SP.  Then up the blistering Big Valley to visit my brother in Paradise, parents in Berry Creek, State Fair, and back home when we're all worn out.  I told work that I'll be off two or three weeks.

Kristi gets a two or three week vacation from the rest of us.  She did end up coming down to Doheny for three nights last week- that was apparently enough dirt time for the summer.

azusateach you will have to give us a report.  My wife and I are going to PA in November and plan on going to hersey as well, and of course Kutztown.

As for FF, we'll pass we are going to Morro bay in the middle of august.  One trip north is enough.

We had a wonderful tme in Morro Bay after leaving FF in June.  We stayed in the State Beach Campground and saw MANY PUP's there.  On the way home, we stayed in Carpenteria for 1 night.

Have fun on your trip.

Cool!  Wow-I don't know how Kristi could be away from you for so long. As much as Griffin dances on my last nerve, I miss him desperately when he spends even just one night at Nana's or Grandma's house!

It doesn't get any better when they are older..when I go to Ohio for the weekend my friend always wants me to stay longer, but I can't be away that long 3 days is about all I can handle

We would love to join you but we are already committed to Bunko on the 11th and we are on the Labor Day trip...sooo, we will have to pass also. My Desk at work would not like me taking off too much...Dave can attest to that.Jamesdad

I love playing Bunko.  I haven't played if for years but it's fun.

I told DH that you guys were going to FF again but unfortunately, we are camping for 2x this month and that's enough for DH.   Wish us luck when we're in Yosemite, we don't want to re-live last years bear invasion.

I'm always open to new trips.  It's not my work schedule that gets in the way of my camping.  My work is mobile, I can take my 3 kids anywhere and still do my job.  I work 24/7 anywhere I am  and the kids are always up for it but DH has his work that keeps me on a camping leash.   I'll have camping reservations for months and what does his work do, they plan a DUI checkpoint during it, causing us to cancel or inconvenience it.

Have fun on your trip and eat a bear claw for me from Solvang.

Bummer for us too.  That is Ashlee's B-Day weekend.
