Quote from: Dee4jwow that looks nothing like when I went to lake skinner, but then again I went in the summer
I don't want to mis-lead anyone here. I wouldn't go back to Lake Skinner again except for the Balloon & Wine Festival.......even then....just once :sombraro: .

The place is very dusty. Had very little wind while we were there but I can only imagine what it would be like if we did. If you look at the pic that I took of that BIG truck towing a TT, you will see what most of the sites are like. They are just dirt. The only tolerable sites (IMO) are on the grass edge, like we had.

It can get into the hundreds there and AC would be an absolute must during the summer (IMO). It can also get quite hot in the winter though and 60 degree temp difference, between night and day, are not uncommon.

April may be a good time for a rally there. Although, if the wind picks-up, all bets are off. :sombraro:

I don't need wind.  Got enough here at home.  That seals it for me.  I'll look elsewhere for Spring break.  Thanks for the honest report, Wayne.

I called out a plumber the beginning of the week.  My sink had been draining slow and I didn't want to take a chance it would decide to back up with 15 people here!  I read an article over the weekend before Thanksgiving that plumbers typically get about 30,000 calls from So. Cal on Thanksgiving Day.   I didn't want to be one of them.

Teach your brother what a trash can is for before next year!!!!
