Rally in N.C.

Hey guys, I finally got a rally organized in N.C.! The rally will be at the rally park at Tom Johnson Camping Center in Marion N.C. There will be all kinds of entertainment and music and a HUGE campfire. We provide the big 'ol grill and you bring the food and we will have a traditional campfire supper! The rally is close to the bule ridge prakway, lake james, biltmore house, grandfather mountain, and all kinds of hiking trails and waterfalls to look at! Any year, make, model pop up is welcome. If anyone is interested please let me know for further information!

When are you doing this rally?  We might be interested.  I'm not familiar with this location.  What kind of sites do they have etc?

The rally is April 4,5, and 6. Marion is about 25 miles east of Asheville. The campground is close to a lot of local attractions like great hiking trails and waterfalls, so there will be plenty to do during the day. There will be a HUGE fire and grill at night to have a campside cookout! Anyway, let me know if you might be able to make it or email me if you have any other questions!

there is about 500 site with full hookups (30 amp), and there is a nice creek on one side and the catawba river on the other side! It is not very wooded, however it is nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by the mountains!

I've been to this facility recently during the Good Sam's Club, Samboree, last fall and had a good time there.  My little PU got kind of lost amonst the big rigs.  

Are there any more details available at this time, such as a schedule of events, if any, and what the the cost will be?  Do you have any idea yet how many campers might be there? This sounds like a good opportunity to meet some more campers in my league.

Really looks like a nice place. I wish I didn't have a weding to attend. I'll be on the look out for it next year !
