Cody (our dog) wants to bring dog biscuits to the potluck but I don't think
it would go over well.  Marty would eat them however if we provided onion or ranch dip.

If you can think of something else for me to bring I'm willing.

Ive never heard of Perogies and had to Google it, THAT sounds amazing...There are so many recipes with the differant styles of cooking. I'm going to try making it myself some time. Wish me luck. How do you make them ??

They are not hard to make.  You roll the dough out and cut it into a circle, about 3 inches around.  Then put a spoon full of the filling (potato and ??? there are many variations, cheese is the most common) in the middle and then fold the dough in half and crimp the edges together to form a half circle.  Then you can boil, bake, fry, grill, or saut

Well with GAS being $4.50 a gallon I think I'll try making them instead of driving to PA.

I think if you ever had tracy's Perogies and Kelbasa, the 4.50/gallon wouldn't be as much of a determining factor.  :p   Ummmm Good.

The curse of the left coast my friend. In NJ where dademt lives is cheaper than it is here across the bridge in Delaware and we can find gas for $3.92 on the left shore of the Delaware River.

Gas up there is about the same as it was around here, if you looked.  Of course driving from CA, you would have to leave about now, especially if towing to get to Keen Lake by perogie time...then you have never had my pot roast and HOME MADE Mashed taters...have never had our two entree specialities, nor have you had any of Jodi's lucious deserts...if you had have the pleasure, then you would fly out with your tent, or fly out, rent a truck, drive down to the beach, pick up my cabin A (if there were only 2) and come on up to the rally and enjoy our friendship, fire, fun and food.  You heard of the 4H,  well wedo a pretty good 4F.

Isn't this combo called a coney dog??
I know coneys have kraut, but some southern cultures substitute slaw for the kraut...When growing up, our FRISCHs Resturaunt (brother of Shoneys) had slaw on their Big Boy sandwich.

In Memphis, the slaw went on top of the BBQ pulled pork sandwich.  Wonderful!
