I will put my E-Z UP in the site and park my car there but I can't make any promises. We'll be getting there Wednesday and there are still 42 sites open for Thursday but Friday is booked solid. The earlier you get there Friday, the better your chances are.

The only reason I'm asking is that I think my reservation begins on Thursday -- right?  If it doesn't then I'll take my chances.  And since it's in your name ...

There's NO way I can get there any earlier unless I take off from school.  That's still a possibility, but I'm not hopeful.  Best case scenario would be some time around 3:00 if I left school early.

Wayne, would you please just let me know which day my reservation actually begins, just so I know?  Thanks.

The reservation is for 4 nights. Arriving Thurs - leaving Monday.

I will go up and say that the site is taken on Thursday afternoon (as we usually do). It is usually not a problem if I have something set-up on the site. However, if someone goes up and causes an issue with the ranger (because they want that site), he has the authority to give the site to someone else if he decides that it is being held and the person hasn't arrived yet. That just means that I will save the next closest site if that happens. It's usually not an issue. It's just that some people can be real jerks about people saving sites for others.

Yes I am - and yes you can. I don't want any complaints about my quiet Honda generator running so that we can watch our sports. Someone should bring an EZ Up so that we can watch it outside.

We should do an Indy 500 pool. We put the names of the drivers in a hat. Each person puts in $5. Each player draws a name from the hat and the player who picks the driver who finishes the highest in the 500 wins the whole pot.

Is there a place to fill up the H2O tanks when we get there?
