greyhounds4meHave to have coffee.  But, everyone but me forgot to bring the Bailey s Irish Cream.  After a couple of cups of coffee, bacon and eggs, or biscuits and gravy, or SOS (almost everyone who was in the service has this high on the list).  If we have things to do, yogurt mixed with 2 tablespoons of Grape Nuts and whatever cut up fruit is handy.  But, have to have coffee and Bailey s.

greyhounds4meWe have two favorites.  Can t decide between thick cut bacon and fried eggs, or western and cheese omelets.  Of course coffee comes first, and american fries with sausage gravy complements either breakfast well.

greyhounds4meI can t believe so many people get up early enough for breakfast. I roll out of the rack when the sun is high in the sky and the PU is so hot inside that I m sweating. Then I stumble to the lake or stream or whatever body of water we re next to and jump in to wake up and cool off. Then it s back to shore for my breakfast of champs. That wonderful bread in a can. Beer.[8D]

greyhounds4meI don t make SOS, but I do make creamed dried beef.  We like it served over boiled potatoes with peas on the side.  Instead of eating it for breakfast we usually eat it for supper.

greyhounds4mePancakes ARE great, but we really love F****H Toast!  Maybe I ll call them the name we used as kids, Fried Bread![:)]

CamperrooLike so many others, the coffee is the first thing to go on the stove. That s usually followed by plenty of Maple Syrup Sausages, and then some egg s cooked to order!

The alternative breakfast would be the coffee of course, followed by our own home style sausage, egg, cheese, salsa, & sour cream breakfast burrito s (MMmmmm good!!!)

greyhounds4meInteresting update to the F***CH Toast dilema![:D] Read yesterday the French Toast is actually an American invention, invented by a guy at a tavern, his name was Joe French and the of course the tavern was French s Tavern. Can t find the link now. Oh well so much for PC[8D]

greyhounds4meColleen1017 s hubby Steve made some killer French Toast at our Halloween campout and shared it with us and it was yummy!  Steve said he pre-made it at home (they were fully cooked) and then when cooled stacked them back in the bread bag and then when you are ready for breakfast at camp you just heat it up in the fry pan and you are good to go.........now........can Colleen get Steve to share his recipe for it here?  Inquiring minds want to know! (I just love good stuff that is simple to make at camp!)

Camperrooyup, as you ve said, lots of coffee.  Then some more coffee.  Around brunchtime, scrambled eggs with ham chunks, Fried potatoes for DH, then another cup of coffee.   Then just linger over the last cup in the pot while the dishwater heats.
