What a fabulous weekend!  Thanks again, Harald, for being a great wagonmaster.  Other than getting a little chilly on Sunday night, the weather was perfect (what, no rain?!).  The campground in Lodgepole was ideal because it is right in the center of the park near the Giant Forrest.  We enjoyed the ranger campfire program on the night sky and got star charts so we could practice at our campsites.  We climbed Moro Rock (400 stairs to a fabulous view), went on the tour at Crystal Cave which was really cool, and saw a bear during a hike around Crescent Meadow.  We made up for all that exercise by indulging in the usual yummy potlucks.  I'm also pleased that my poker streak is continuing :-() .  All in all it was a great Labor Day weekend.

We are looking forward to Santa Paula...
