GuestAndy it is the site builder part of the web site that is slow. [8D]  If I enter the site early in the morning it moves quickly, but this time of day it is very slow.  I am just about to the page

tlhdoc

GuestAndy I can not get the site to open the web site.  I will try again in the morning.

tlhdoc

GuestAndy I think I got it done right.  Check it out and let me know.  Sorry again.  If any one else sees a mistake let me know so I can fix it.

tlhdocAfter being off the web for a week I am back in town. The reason why I was gone was getting my trailer out of a snow bank/mudhole. This all depended on the daily weather. Checked out the trailer and most all is well. I could not lite the hot water tank,( whats new) but everything was great. No water leaks, mildue, no damage found. I did fine one gas tank empty. It was full, I think. Battery was in good shape and started the heating system without a problem. Needness to say I am ready to go!!!!!

Does anyone out there, find that they have to much to take with them on these camping trips. I keep finding, and finding, and finding stuff to take. At this rate my dogs will have to run to the parks.[:D]

would you be able to give me some info on the sites in the electric loop?
I have always stayed in the last loop(sites 13 to 44 but usually 14 or 15 so I didn t have to walk too far at 05:30 to get a shower before going to work) and never really checked out the other sites.
I was looking at my CG map and was considering making reservations for a site on the outside of the loop between sites 250 & 265.
I know that sites 12 & 16 are electric but I really don t want to be right next to a bath house on a weekend.[: (]
 Thanks,
 Mike

Unfortunately we can t make the sept trip (I have to work that weekend) but we re planning a 4 day trip in June & one in Oct..

If anyone can give me some info for sites in the electric loop I d appreciate it.
We have a coleman sedona with an AAR and we like sites that are fairly large(who doesn t?) &  a site that you re not stareing into your neighbors site and away from the road.

As I m sitting here writing this I was thinking that I can t believe that I spent about 50 nights at this CG over a 3 year period and never really checked out the other sites!?
I guess I was too busy checking out all the trails & scenery in the area.[:D]

 Thanks in advance

Guest263 is a nice site in that area.  If you are willing to move to the inside of the loop 264 and 262 are good sized.  253 and 260 are also sites I marked as OK.  The dumpster is by site 260 though.  248 is another on that isn t right in the area you asked about, but I have it marked as a larger site.  I hope this helps.

Thanks, I just reserved site 263 for June 19-22.
The laurel should be in full bloom about at this time, so if anybody wants to make an early trip feel free to stop in and say hi.

I hope 263 is a nice site or I m gonna tell the bears where to get some marshmallows in Sept.[:D]

I d also like to thank DiW & SheBantam for letting me know that the camping clubs forum is still public and guests can post.  I ll keep checking back to see if I can make it to another trip sometime.

 Thanks again,

GuestMJ just to let you know site 263 is the site where the bear kept going last June when we were there.[:D]  We didn t see it in the fall so maybe it has moved on or been moved on.  I hope you have a good trip and that you can join us on another trip.

 tlhdocHey All,

Sure glad my wife is not reading this stuff or we would not be going to Hickory Run.  Bears in the camp grounds is not her cup of tea if you know what I mean[;)]

SheBantam

GuestRaymond runs around asking " how many bears are there in the woods?"  Well it did not make him happy when we were in TN and Cades Cove had a paper that told how many bears there were there. He said the information is too old.

he also asks how many cows chew their cuds.

 Sometimes you just gotta wonder...
Hope he sees a bear and gets it over with.

 GuestHi Everyone,
I was just looking around and was interested in joining you for the Hickory Run Trip.  Got a little confused as to what sites are taken/available.  Anyone have any suggestions as to any good sites w/electric still available?

I really would like to get a chance to join you[:D]
