Quote from: BootheBunchUh, Brandon will make his biscuits and gravy for breakfast. I think I will try a new recipe.....watch out....unprofessional and unskilled cook alert! I am going to try to make my mom's bleu cheese mac and cheese dish. It's yummy....my girls love it.

Oh darn, I was thinking of making buiscuits & gravy.  I might make a potato casserole that has been a hit in the past and not sure for dinner yet.

Breakfast, hmmmm??  OK, well from Pismo I know NOT to attempt a fruit salad that turns to fruit mush, and NO bagels.  Noboby liked the bagels.

Can I bring the little assorted cereal boxes with their associated milk?

YES!  The kids like that - don't forget some bowls though....most people don't have those on hand in line.

Kwisti Kwisti Kwisti...the true campers don't need bowls. those little boxes are actually designed to open and make a bowl... tear it open on it's side and add milk...

I won't forget. Last Sunday I made 28 jars of my red jalapeno jam. I planted 18 jalapeno plants so I'm up to my you know what in jalapenos right now. I have enough peppers in the frig to make another 28 jars. That stuff is really good with turkey sandwiches and if you mix the green jam with mint jelly, it's stunning with lamb.

Quote from: DK&3kidsHere's a preview of your weekend - we'll hand these flyers out Friday afternoon.  Everything's optional, but having fun!

The location for the potlucks will TBA....but it will most likely be at the south end of the loop - near site 364...

You got it! - Oh, but just so you know, these sites are not discounted in any way....the four sites I didn't sell may still be available...they are 370, 379,380,381.  You could try to call direct.  Good luck!;)

Camping Coxes

Spotted at the 99C store today -- costumes for the small 4-legged campers among us.  Tempts me to bring mine along just so I can dress him up!

oldmoose

Ok jalapeno jam will be there.

The Allen Family is bringing BBQ sandwiches for dinner and PopUpMomma's not sure.....Probably "Goul"lash.....Or meatballs........
Almost there.......

Oh, I have a question, did we have tables and chairs last year or did we have to bring them?  i can't remember.  I know the year before we  had round tables with chairs.  And, we bring our own fire pit or rent their's...right?

It's bring your own everything at this part of the campground:mad: .  Without a doubt, there will be a fire pit down by Dee's, but I think you're right about renting one from them..although the website has no info on that anymore.  Anyone who has a lightweight banquet table to bring for the potlucks will be welcomed with open arms!:sombraro:   If, then we all bring our own chairs, we'll be in good shape.

The locale for the potlucks was down by Moose and Lori last year - I'm assuming that will still work, but we'll hunt around on Thurs. when we get there.

note on the firepit: you can bring your own but it must be enclosed no open pits. also if you want to rent one I would ask at check in or they may run out

or just head down to my/Vikings site we always have a warm fire there
