This morning we are experiencing a cold like we never have here in SoCal. Right now at 8:00 am it is 3 degrees.  With the winds it is -7. That's cold no matter where you are!

Oh, dear ... it's 70 degrees right now here along the s.e. coast of North Carolina. It probably won't be for long as everything seems to be coming from the west!  But if this continues ... I'm going to hitch-up the Starcraft and head for the lake!

That was our plan originally, the DW wanted to go camping for her birthday this weekend.  That would have been a mistake.

It's cold here in LA too but not that cold :frosty:

We were thinking of going camping the last few weekends. It's either been windy or cold. I think that we may tow the PU down to Doheny next weekend and take our chances. I know that they are booked up but it's supposed to be cold then too, so I'll bet a lot of whooses don't show up.

Winter has finally arrived here in the "Frozen Tundra"---current temps in the 20's, with 3-5 inches of snow forecast in the next 36 hours.:frosty:

Quite the change from the last few weeks of 40 degree plus weather and rain.....:eyecrazy:

CampDirt

More snow here in Colorado with low temps in the single digits.  Expecting another 3"-8".  Third storm since Christmas...

Old Goat

I did the same thing.  The news said it was 7 degrees in Lancaster, and I immediately thought of Brian and Kristi :frosty:

It is still in the 40's here in central PA and I did go camping in the rain this weekend.  I don't know when I will get the camper dried out, but I went for my first trip of the year.:)

chip

Just almost 70 here today.  It was supposed to rain today, but didn't, so I had to go for a bike ride.

Gotta love this global warming stuff...

I was a little more selfish. When the news said 7 degrees in Lancaster, I thought of when I was sitting in Antarctica freezing my ...... off. THEN, I thought of Brian & Kristi...........although.......I've gotta admit.....I giggled a little. :p . They're in their nice warm house. :D

It'll be pretty busy at Doheney as that is the weekend of the SoCAl Chapter of the International Dutch Oven Society's DOG. We expect about 100-150 or more people for the DOG on Saturday. You're welcome to visit and eat if you're able to find a spot. I had an extra spot and sold it quickly to one of our group.
