Today here in Vegas its a warm 78* so I decieded to pull the PU out of the garage and open her up and give her a good cleaning and get her ready for our upcoming trip to the Mojave Narrows for my daughters 7th Birthday. We gave her a choice of a party or going camping and she picked camping, thats my girl.......... When I was cleaning i found some stuff on the bunkends that i couldn't wash off with soap and water, so I tried this product i found at Walmart called "Holy Cow cleaner and degreaser" and did this stuff really work!! I even used it on some spots on the outside of the PU that i thought would never come off and it came off with ease. It felt good to set her up and just sit and relax inside the her. My DW went to McDonalds and gots us all some lunch and we ate inside the PU. We cant wait to get away from this crazy town and camp for 3 days. We'll be up there March 31, April 1 and 2 and return on the 3rd. I hope we catch some fish.......Ed C

Talk about jealousy here... .  we are dying to get out camping... but with it still below freezing through the night and still a snow storm or two to come... still a bit early...  Hope you guys enjoy....

We did the same thing weekend before last.  Nice weather just made me haul the PUP out of the garage and set it up.  Ended up doing some mods and just enjoyed sitting out there eating our lunch!! :#   We're way past ready to go camping.

I'm jealous too.  I still have an 8 ft high, 20ft long snowbank in front of my pup.  Hopefully I can get it out by Memorial Day!

I know, what a joke, we just came through 8 hours of freezing rain that turned to rain rather than snow thankfully...

I am hoping we can get out by june the way this spring has started... hahaha

Even here in upstate NY we're still a long way from camping season. In spite of that, I towed the pup to the dealership today for some work and some maintenance. It made me think that maybe, just maybe, camping season will actually arrive at some point. Gotta keep hope alive, as they say!

For everyone living in snow country I do feel for you, my DW and I are from Racine Wisconsin and we know all about snow, thats why we're living in Vegas now. I cant stand Snow or Mesquitos!!!! The good thing though is that the snow wont last forever, it just seems that way. i do miss the fishing and the greenery though........Ed C.

Not to rub it in but here in AZ we are in the mid 80's  :S My tomatoes, onions and radishes are growing. It will be time to head to the mountains soon to escape the heat.

Howdy, neighbor!

Now, for you folks in sun country - I went snow-skiing today. Who says you can't have fun without camping??

I asked my daughter this afternoon if she would like to sleep in the pup tonight. She jumped at the chance. So, I popped it up for the first time since Jan. 2nd. The heat is running in it as we prepare to head out there. DW is staying in the house with our 9-month-old.

It's not a nice road trip to a far away CG, but it is still camping! I don't know yet when we will go to a campground for the first time this spring.

We're heading out for a 3 day after church on Sunday.  We just got the PUP back from the doctor on Wednesday and she is good to go for another year.  Packed the bearings and checked all the water lines, hot water heater etc.  I can't wait.  They have finally lifted the burn ban here in NC and now I can have a fire.  It's been over a year since the last campfire.
