WOW!! lots of diversity in the job market here, I'm not necessarily proud of my "chosen" career, but everytime I've tried to get out of it, be damnned if no one will hire me.  Anyhoo, I am a security supervisor/guard and hubby is an HVAC technician for a local company.  Both of us have been working in our selected fields for 15+ years so I think it's safe to say we know what we're doing.. lol

Thank you!! I don't think you guys get paid enough to deal with some of the stuff you do.  Lord knows my yougest called 911 to try and get a hold of me at work, she associated my security uniform with a police uniform.. lol

I work at Chrysler (building Dodge Rams) in the field of robotics.  I can honestly say I love my job and pray these gas prices go down before I lose it...  :)  My wife works in group health insurance.  We are lucky in our jobs that we can get quite a few weeks a year off to camp and look forward to our next trip!

Actually, 911 dispatcher is just a stepping stone in my career, I want to be a stand up comedian, I'm just gathering material right now.

What a great assortment of 'jobs'.  Hubby and I drive school busses.  We get summers off and another 3+ weeks off during the school year.  Can't beat it for camping. Last year we were out 34 nights. So far this year 4 nights with 40 more booked!!!!  It's a rough life but someone has to do it.  :-()

Well being in a half way associated field, I believe you can do that pretty quick.. just last week on one of my sites we had an older... ummm... I'll say gentleman, attempt to come on property on a pink bicycle.. with pink and purple flags.... wearing pink tights, a pink leotard, silver metalic shorts, wearing a purple bike helmet (Safety is VERY important) a tiara on top of the helmet, and crystal cross earrings....one which he had to keep pulling out of his beard when it got stuck.  I still don't think I know what he was doing... not exactly transgender... but good lord was it good for a laugh!!
