The Rally is underway.  Most of the group arrived yesterday.  Two families had flat tires on the way in.  There is a truck and a half of fire wood, before we get the group fire wood delivered tomorrow.  Several new trailers had to be viewed/inspected.  So far there are 4 PUs in the group.  Most of those attending are now in hard side trailers.  Saturday was a bit humid, but sunny.  Today is over cast with a few rain showers.  :)

Pouring down rain now, but still a good time.  Steak cooked on the grill, baked potato cooked in the coals of a wood fire, and steamed broccoli.:)

The rain has ended and the air has cooled off.  Humidity is way down.  It looks like today will be a very nice day weather wise.  The rain last night stopped the group campfire, so we will have to make up for it tonight.:)

It is now 9:53pm and if you are looking for updates, please stop.  At this point everyone is very full after a great dinner and lets just say there are many happy campers to go around.  Please check back in with the group tomorrow to see how things are doing.

Have  great night  ;)

The pot luck dinner was great! There was so much good food, it was hard to decide what to eat and what to pass on. The weather was beautiful, the company is great, and the kids are all getting alone.  The last of our group arrived safely today.  A few had to go home to go to work or for sports, but they will be back before the weekend.:D

Today was a great day.  Found a lady that bakes all kinds of goodies to order.  We picked up some this afternoon and have more ordered for tomorrow afternoon.  Took a "tour" of the kielbasa "factory" and bought some fresh for dinner tonight.  Found some caches, played bachi ball, and had a colorful campfire.  The weather couldn't be better, and shortly we will be looking for a solar flare.:)

The rally is moving along.  Some people have had to leave and other come back.  Part of the group have gone swimming, boating, on a boat trip, shopping, and Steam Town National Park.  Everyone seems to be having a good time.:)

Thanks for posting updates, Tracy.  Although I have not met any other PUT members yet, I enjoy hearing about everyone's travels.  The rally is literally in my backyard, but we will not be able to be there.  Too many other things going on, and a trip already planned for next week in VA.

Enjoy!

Your welcome Jim.  The official rally is now over, but some of the group is still here.  The weather is hot and humid so water sports are very popular.  We had a birthday in our group today and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Copcarguy.  I would like to thank everyone for what they have done to make this rally a success, especially Cheryl.:)

Traci,

Always great to hear that life goes on!  We are so fortunate to have a leader like you to keep it all going in the same direction.   Although we have been unable to participate as we would like, it is like they say, friends around the campground are everlasting.  Our best regards to all!

We made it home safely at about 6:30pm (2 hrs). We had a great time and were sorry to leave. Great choice of cg Tracy and Dee. I think I may have been on Dee's site but I'm not sure. All our sites were good ones and the bathroom was cleaned more than once a day. After the first try, I could manage a $.25 shower. Many of our group filled up the deepest of sites with their large trailers and all those toys. I'm envious. Seems this was the year to take the waverunners out. I think next time the women need to challenge the men to horseshoes, though.

I made it over to some old haunts, including Lake Wallenpaupak and Hawley. Next time I will have to do the boat ride. 2/3 of my group was gone for a few days so when they returned from work and soccer games, being lazy was all that appealed to them. I did manage to get ice cream a few times (a staple of my camping trips).

Lots to keep us busy - bball, ladder ball?, horseshoes, shuffleboard, boating, swimming. My teens never made it to the game room surprisingly. Of course, having cable tv was a treat as was the new tv. A/C was a blessing as it was very hot and humid. Even with Beckie there (haha), we somehow avoided excessive rainfall. Maybe the curse is gone.

Had a chance to meet some new people and spend some time getting to know the MD gang. Thanks Sara(h) for the ice cream cake. It was the perfect dessert. I tried to find everyone to say goodbye but a few were missing. Did I say napping (Paula?). A special thanks to Wayne? for the wine.

Today was a perfect way to end the trip. We celebrated birthdays for two special girls and had a visit from our old friend Copcarguy and his new family. Congrats to them and their new life together. I hope to see more of them once they get settled.

We were hoping to get over there on a day trip basis, but it didn't work out for us.  Hope everyone there had a great time, sounds it by reading the reports.  We'll hope to be back next year.  Will be looking to see where you decided to go next time.

I am glad to see that you are still keeping and eye on the board.  I hope that we will have the pleasure of your company again soon.:)
